Student uses little analysis. Frequently inaccurate stances. Makes conjecture that are unsupported and incorrect
Understanding

Student demonstrates a developing understanding of the level 1 and 2 analysis. With occasional misses, the student is generally accurate with the Me Me Ha Me Fo Sty Co concepets
Mastery

Student demonstrates clear understanding of the level one and two analysis of the listening. Accurately identifies things such as medium, meter, basic harmony, style, time period, etc.
Level 3 Analysis

Developing

Student demonstrates a limited understanding of in depth analysis. Either is not present, or is heavily inaccurate. No conjecture present.
Understanding

Student has a basic understanding of level 3 analysis. Student makes effort, with some accuracy, to dig deep into the analysis. Conjecture may not be accurate, but is well supported.
Mastery

Student demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of in depth analysis. Uses more than one level 3 analysis that allows in depth conjecture of detail.
Use of all Categories

Developing

Student uses few categories.
Understanding

Student uses many but not all categories available in analysis
Mastery

Student makes reasonable effort to include all categories in their response
