Postitioning of Patient Student provides for privacy by closing doors and pulling screening curtian. Places bath blanket over the patient, removes the bedspread, positions the legs/bent at the knees and spread apart, places moisture barrier under the buttocks and tub of water on the bedside table, drape the blanket between legs	Good all items completed without assist of instructor. Perineal Care Wet wash cloths, make mitted cloth, apply soap, separate labia with nondominant hand, clean one side , clean other side, and then wipe down the middle towards anus. Use a different area of the cloth each stroke. rinse with clean cloth using same technique. pat dry with towel .	Good all items completed without assist of instructor. Post Procedure Ask patient to lower her legs, pull pt's gown down. Remove any soiled linens or moisture barrier products and dispose of properly, position patient for comfort, perform safety check of the room, remove gloves and wash hands. make sure call light and personal objects are within reach. thank the patient.
