Jump Rope Routine 3rd Grade

Students will be completing a jump rope routine in groups. Routines will be graded based on length of routine, synchronization, cooperation/teamwork in creating the routine, creativity, inclusion of at least 4 different jumps each and overall performance.

Music Length	Emerging Length of song(s) under 30 seconds.	Approaching Length of song(s) between 30 seconds and 45 seconds.	Meets Length of song 1 min.	Exceeds Length of song(s) 1 minute or more.
Cooperation/Teamwork During practice and the routine.	Emerging Little cooperation, performers do not work together/argue.	Approaching Some cooperation - may have one person doing all of the work.	Meets Performers appear to work together in the routine and all have had a part in the creative process.	Exceeds All performers worked together and created a routine which reflected their cooperation and hard work.
Jump Rope Skills Include at least 4 different jumps	Emerging Does not include any more complex skills than the basic jump.	Approaching Skills include at least one skill more complex than the basic jump.	Meets Minimum requirements are accomplished in the routine.	Exceeds Performance includes many skills beyond basic jump.
