Balanced and Unbalanced Forces, Net Forces, and Newtons

Within small groups in front of the class, students will perform two original demonstrations of the effects of balanced and unbalanced forces on the motion of an object, correctly calculate the net forces, and properly use the term “Newton,” scoring a minimum of 10 out of 12 points on the following rubric to demonstrate mastery.
