Criteria
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Concepts	Poor Concepts that are included are poorly defined and ambiguous.	Fair Most of the concepts are defined, but there are few errors in the definitions themselves.	Good Concepts are clearly and well-defined.
Thoroughness	Poor The outline looks thrown together at the last minute – e.g., handwritten; done in-class on day it was due).	Fair Few sections of the text chapter were skipped over/completely missing.	Good Each section is completed. and highly detailed.
Timeliness	Poor The outline is turned in 3 days after due date.	Fair The outline is turned in 1-2 days after due date.	Good The outline is turned in on time.
