Performance Evaluation
	Beginning 1 pts	Intermediate 2 pts	Developing 3 pts	Mastery 4 pts
Pitch/Intonation	Beginning Student is able to match some of the notes sung by another student singing the same voice part	Intermediate Singer has difficulty maintaining correct intonation and often performs flat or sharp. Breath support is lacking.	Developing Mostly accurate intonation and breath support with some intonation problems. Pitch adjustment skills are still developing.	Mastery Accurate intonation with correct breath support in all ranges and registers. Pitch adjustments are made instantly.
Rhythm	Beginning More practice is needed.	Intermediate Most rhythms are performed incorrectly	Developing Most rhythms are performed correctly	Mastery All rhythms are performed correctly
Tone Quality	Beginning Tone is weak, but student shows effort	Intermediate Tone quality lacks resonance and support. Breathiness is common and singer lacks consistency across registers	Developing Resonance and desirable tone quality are generally produced. Vibrato may or may not be in evidence. Some breathiness may be evident and registers are inconsistent	Mastery Singer exhibits resonance and vibrato. Tone is beautiful and well supported across ranges
Solfege	Beginning More practice is needed.	Intermediate Most Solfege syllables are performed incorrectly.	Developing Most Solfege syllables are performed correctly.	Mastery All Solfege syllables are performed correctly.
