First Amendment Group Presentations First Amendment Group Presentations Each group was given a court case to summarize then explain the impact on scholastic journalism. Groups had to prepare a summary and a PowerPoint that included discussion questions for the class. Adequate summary of case.	Poor Missed 2 or more of the relevant points.	Fair Missed 1 of the relevant points.	Good Covered all relevant points.
Preparation	Poor Group was not prepared and information presented was confusing.	Fair Group was somewhat prepared, information was a little disorganized.	Good Group was well prepared, information was well organized.
Involvement of Group	Poor Two or more group members were not involved in the presentation.	Fair One group member was not involved in the presentation.	Good All group Members were involved.
Quality of Work (Summary	Poor Summary did not sufficiently explain the case AND something included was incorrect.	Fair Summary did not sufficiently explain the case OR something included was incorrect.	Good Summary was well done.
Quality of PowerPoint	Poor PowerPoint contained incorrect information.	Fair PowerPoint did not match presentation.	Good PowerPoint provided effective "talking points" for presentation.
Presentation	Poor Group was not prepared; read slides word for word or provided erroneous information,	Fair Presentation was somewhat confusing or not all members of the group were involved.	Good Presentation was effective and all members of the group seemed engaged.
