Intonation and Rhythm	Just Beginning Music has too many errors. Needs attention.	Some Progress Several errors occur. Most of the intonation is incorrect and there are many wrong notes.	Halfway There Occasional note is missed, due to key signature, shift or accidental. Basic Tonality can be heard.	Goal Attained Excellent accuracy. No mistakes were made, therefore music was performed as written.
Left Hand Position	Just Beginning Does not show proper left hand position most of the time. Wrist is never straight.	Some Progress Shows proper left hand position some of the time. Wrist is sometimes straight.	Halfway There Shows proper left hand position most of the time. Wrist is mostly straight.	Goal Attained Shows proper left hand position at all times. Wrist is always straight.
Instrument Position	Just Beginning Instrument is not held correctly at the 45-50 degree angle needed.	Some Progress Instrument is held correctly at the 45-50 degree angle needed during some of the exercise.
