Comprehensibility 4 pts	Unsatisfactory Portions of the response are almost impossible to understand, requires listener to try to "figure out" what the student is saying;	Basic A sympathetic listener understands most of the response, but some sections still difficult to interpret -- requires clarification; student may get flustered when required to clarify	Proficient A sympathetic listener may have to pause one or two times to comprehend the speaker, but student can easily recover/ re-explain/clarify	Advanced A sympathetic listener can understand all of the response without having to pause or interpret; Native speakers will understand most of what speaker says without hesitation
