Playing Test

Practice time	1 Student does not practice the song and /or no daily improvement is made. The student is a distraction to others.	2 Student is given 2 or more reminders by the teacher to stay on task and get back to practicing.some daily improvement is made.	3 Student practices, but has to be given reminders to get back to practicing during rehearsal. The student is still making daily improvements.	4 Student practices for the entire class period and is making daily improvements. Student does not have to ve asked to practice.
Hand Position & Fingerings	1 Student cannot demonstrate 50% of the correct hand position, chord notes and fingerings.	2 Student can demonstrate 50% of the correct hand position, chord notes, and fingerings.	3 Student can demonstrate 75% of the correct hand position, chord, note or fingerings.	4 Student can accurately demonstrate the correct hand position, chord, notes and fingerings
Tempo	1 Student can not maintain a steady tempo during the piece.	2 Student maintains a consistent tempo for 50% of the piece.	3 Student maintains a consistent tempo for at least 75% of the piece.	4 Student maintains a consistent tempo for at least 90% of the piece.
