This is a rubric on how we will be evaluating the student's progress in understanding and learning the mathematical concepts of mean, median, mode, and range.

	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Participation	Poor Student does not pay attention to teacher and is unable to possess an understanding of the subjects. Student is unable to answer questions when called upon.	Fair Student gives some attention to teacher and exhibits a mediocre understanding. Can answer questions when called upon.	Good Student gives full attention to teacher and participates in the lesson. Student exhibits an understanding of the lesson. Answers questions correctly when called upon.
Train Game	Poor Student plays "Group Game" and answers less than 70% of the questions correctly. Student is unable to explain the new mathematical concepts.	Fair Student plays "Group Game" and answers 70% or more of the questions correctly. Can somewhat explain the concepts of mean, median, mode, and range.	Good Student plays "Group Game" and answers 80% or more of the questions correctly. Student is able to explain concepts.
Quiz	Poor Student earns lower than a 75% on the IXL quiz. Student does not understand the concepts of mean, median, mode, and range.	Fair Student earns a 75% or higher on the IXL quiz. Students possesses a limited understanding of the concepts of mean, median, mode, and range.	Good Student earns an 85% or higher on the IXL quiz. Student possesses an understanding of the concepts of mean, median, mode, and range.
