Spanish Oral Exam 
Students should be able to successfully perform unrehearsed verbal conversations on familiar topics with some details. Students should be able to understand and respond to questions. Also students should be able to appropriately greet and say farewell to the teacher in Spanish.

Exhibited perfect pronunciation, intonation and overall outstanding communication ability.

Student lacked understanding or ignored some or all questions.
Fair

Student answered inappropriately at times or failed to acknowledge a few statements but made an effort to respond to most questions. May be anticipating questions from checklist.
Good

Student responded to all questions, perhaps slightly inappropriately at times but over all seemed to understand a vast majority of the content.
Outstanding

Student answered all of the material presented with ease and perhaps even built upon the conversation presented.
Greeting/Farewell

Unsatisfactory

Student did not greet or say a farewell to the teacher.
Fair

Student attempted to greet or say farewell to teacher, but not appropriately according to formality.
Good

Student greeted and said farewell to teacher in the appropriate manner of formality (minor error or hesitation).
Outstanding

Student greeted and said farewell to teacher with ease and in the appropriate manner of formality with no errors.
