Speech/Debate Final Trial Rubric 
Students have been assigned the prosecution or defense in a murder trial. They shall assume the role of attorneys and witnesses to advance the interests of their clients utilizing good public speaking and debate skills.

Attorney/Witness paused on occasion but was mostly prepared.

Attorney/Witness paused often and at times seemed unprepared.

Attorney/Witness seemed wholly unprepared.
Witness Examination

Attorneys ask at least 5 questions per witness and do not exceed the 6 minute limit.
