Student can remain in his carpet space or will remain seated appropriately at his desk with working posture (head up, facing task, chair legs on floor, materials ready) with 2 or fewer adult prompts and visuals.
Good

Student can independently remain in his carpet space or will remain seated appropriately at his desk with working posture (head up, facing task, chair legs on floor, materials ready).
Working to Completion

Poor

Student has a difficult time beginning and working on tasks independently. Student needs frequent adult prompts and visuals to begin tasks.
Fair

Student can begin tasks independently and work for a certain length of time or portion of an assigned task with visuals and 2 or fewer adult redirects.
Good

Student can begin and work to completion on tasks independent of adult prompts with visual support.
Attending to Instruction

Poor

Student has a difficult time refraining from being distracted by others or self during and continuously needs redirection to do so.
Fair

Student can refrain from being distracted by others or himself and redirect when prompted 2 or fewer times by an adult during an instructional period.
Good

Student can independently attend to instruction and participate by using eye contact, hand raising, and sharing on topic.
