Presentation Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information and/or student turns in no research packet.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around and/or student turns in an incomplete research packet.	Good Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow and turns in a completed research packet.	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow and turns in a completed research packet.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Good Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Graphics	Poor Student uses unrelated graphics or no graphics	Fair Student graphics rarely support text and presentation.	Good Student's graphics relate to the content of the presentation and supports the content.	Excellent Student's graphics explain and reinforce the content of the presentation.
Mechanics	Poor Student's presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.	Fair Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Good Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Excellent Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors.
Eye Contact	Poor Student reads all of report with no eye contact.	Fair Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.
Speaking	Poor Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.	Good Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
