Student does not respect the teacher or his/her classmates. Student speaks over others, says rude or mean things, and does not raise his/her hand. The student disrupts the class.
Fair

Student usually listens to his/her teacher and classmates, but needs to be reminded. It takes several minutes for student to start an activity. The student speaks with friends when they complete an assignment.
Good

This student is always respectful and kind to his/her teacher and classmates. They help others and always raise their hand when they are confused or have a question.
Participation

Poor

Student forgets his/her materials. Student arrives more than twenty minutes late. Student sleeps in class. Student repeatedly uses his/her cellphone. Student does not complete class activities. Student speaks only in Turkish
Fair

Student forgets one material. Student arrives between 5-10 minutes late. Student uses cellphone once but stops once reminded. Student does class activities, but uses a lot of Turkish and doesn't put much effort into the assignments.
Good

This student is ready for class, on time, and happy to be there. They are energetic and ready to learn. They have fun and pay attention. They speak almost entirely in English.
