Content	Excellent Content is well organized. Responses thoroughly discuss the content of the writing. Student connects sentences well.	Good Presentation is generally logical. Most information on topic included.	Average Presentation is somewhat illogical and confusing in places. Information on topic lacking.	Poor Poorly organized. Incomplete coverage of topic.
Comprehensibility	Excellent Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.	Good Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.	Average Reader has difficulty understanding what writer is trying to communicate. Incorrect use of Spanish vocabulary. Direct translations of English idioms that do not make sense in Spanish suggest use of translation device.	Poor Incomprehensible throughout. Writing clearly reflects use of translation device
