Hand Stitching	Needs Improvement The stitches are not the correct stitch. Very noticeable.	On the Way Stitches are either too long or too wide apart. The closure is not tight or knotted correctly.	Almost There Most of the stitches are the correct length or width apart.	Wow Hand sewing is done correctly. Stitches are correct length and width apart. Closure is invisible.
Face	Needs Improvement Face has not been sewn on correctly. Stitching is poor and not practiced	On the Way Face has been stitched, showed knowledge of Satin stitching and practiced before putting on doll.	Almost There Face is stitched correctly. Stitches even, evidence of practice. Placement even on doll. Very appealing.	Wow Face stitched correctly. Stitches even. Evidence of practice. Placement even. Attempted a design other than suggested on the pattern. And was successful.
Overall Apperance	Needs Improvement The doll does not look neat.	On the Way Most of your stitches could be better.	Almost There The majority of the stitches are neat. Most corners are square. Under arm and crotch seams are smooth.	Wow All stitches are neat. All cornersare square. All Under Arm seams and crotch seam are smooth.
Work Habits	Needs Improvement Needed several reminders to stay on task. Did not clean area.	On the Way Needed a reminder to stay on task. Could have done a better job cleaning up.	Almost There Stayed mostly on task, cleaned up fairly well.	Wow Worked quietly, used time well, left work area clean. Helped clean up the classroom.
Hair	Needs Improvement little or no hair was placed on the dolls head.	On the Way Hair was attached and tied correctly	Almost There Some embellishment was used to design the hair.	Wow Hair was original and attached correctly
Stuffing	Needs Improvement Doll was not stuffed.	On the Way Doll stuffed, but not filled enough in legs and arms	Almost There Doll stuffed well, but missed corners of feet and arms.	Wow Doll stuffed well and firm. All areas filled appropriately.
