Students handles the instrument correctly 80% of the time. Still needs reminders from the teacher.

Student handles the instrument properly 100% of the time. Student can handle the instrument and play the tones by his or herself without teacher help.

Poor voice use. Student does not know any of the notes learned and how to use their voice in a whisper, speak, shout, or singing tone. Teacher has to work with the student by doing the voice notes with the student still.

Student knows the most of the words but forgets which tone to use. Teacher has to remind the student which note requires which tone.

Good voice use.
Students knows the words to our song but is having trouble with the tones to use on which words. Still needs reminders from the teacher.

Excellent voice use.
Student handles the song 100% of the time. Student can sing the words of the song with all the correct tones without teacher help.
