Rhythm/Tone 10 pts Tempo Rhythmic Accuracy	Poor/Not Acceptable The tempo is not appropriate for the piece. Many notes are out of tune and not centered. Tone quality is poor.	Fair/ Needs Work Some notes are out of tune.The tempo is a bit fast or slow for the piece. Some rhythms are played incorrectly.	Good Pitches are in tune and centered. A desirable tone quality is produced for most of the piece. An appropriate tempo is picked for the piece.	Excellent- Definitely a GO! itches are well centered and in tune. Rhythms are played correctly and in a style that fits the piece.
Musicianship 10 pts Dynamics Phrasing Articulations	Poor/Not Acceptable Few dynamic changes are observed. Phrasing is absent or very poorly thought out.	Fair/ Needs Work Some dynamics are observed. Some articulations are incorrect.	Good Phrasing suggests understanding of the piece, but could use work.	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Phrasing that communicates intention of the piece is performed. VERY GOOD MUSCISIANSHIP!
Creativity 10 pts	Poor/Not Acceptable This act exhibits NO creativity whatsoever!	Fair/ Needs Work There are some aspects of creativity in this act.	Good Act is creative.	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Act is completely creative and unique. This act ROCKS!
Organization/Preparation 10 pts	Poor/Not Acceptable Act lacks any organization and coordination. Student did not prepare.	Fair/ Needs Work Act has some organization and coordination. Needs lots of room for improvement.	Good Act is organized and coordinated almost fully. Act still needs some tweaking.	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Act is completely organized and coordinated. This act shows potential.
Stage Presence 10 pts Posture Presence	Poor/Not Acceptable Posture and attitude is unacceptable.	Fair/ Needs Work Student needs large improvement in posture. Student shows major lapses in judgment in professionalism.	Good Student has minor issues with posture. Student needs a slight improvement in professionalism (reacting to mistakes, giggling in performance, etc.)	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Student sits or stands with correct posture for their instrument and is professional in their conduct.
