This rubric is to evaluate the student's proficiency at pulse matching within an metronome set at 120bpm. Response will consisting of 4 counts of pre listen then at least one minute of entrainment to the pulse. These skills are based upon the National Standards of Music-

Entrain to metronome set to 120BPM	Unsatisfactory Student cannot or refuses to entrain to metronome.	Needs Improvement Student entrains with the pulse but with less than 50% accuracy.	Approaching Proficiency Student entrains with the pulse with at least 50% accuracy.	Proficient Student entrains with the pulse with at least 75% accuracy.	Mastery Student entrains with the pulse with 100% accuracy.
