	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Clarity	Excellent Student speaks with a high degree of vocal clarity and confidence.	Good Student speaks with considerable vocal clarity and confidence.	Fair Student speaks with some vocal clarity and a low volume.	Poor Student speaks with limited vocal clarity and very low volume.
Pacing	Excellent Student speaks at a varying pace which significantly enhances the meaning of the text.	Good Student speaks at a varying pace which somewhat enhances the meaning of the text.	Fair Student speaks at a varying pace which slightly confuses the meaning of the text. Or student does not often vary the pace of the text to enhance the meaning.	Poor Student speaks at a varying pace which confuses the meaning of the text. Or student does not vary the pace of the text to enhance the meaning.
