Fair

Student usually has repeated mistakes in the lyrics, major gaps in memorization, unclear or mumbled consonants
Poor

Student seems unaware of the lyrics, little evidence of memorization
Part Knowledge

Excellent

Consistently sings accurate pitches and rhythms. Tone quality is clear and well supported. Singing lyrical and musical phrases. Expressing the style of the composer's intent.
Good

Consistently sings accurate pitches and rhythms. Tone quality is clear and well supported. Singing lyrical and musical phrases.
Satisfactory

Usually sings accurate pitches and rhythms. Tone quality is clear and well supported.
Fair

Sometimes sings accurate pitches and rhythms. Tone quality is sometimes out of tune or lacks support.
Poor

Rarely sings accurate pitches or rhythms. Tone quality is often out of tune and produced poorly.
