Student was able to create and build a pie/cake slice using a template. The sides align and have no gaps or cracks. Each section was scored, slipped and has a coil seam. All pieces,including the lid are even.

Student was able to create a piece that is mainly free of streaks but does not have any significant cracks (few surface cracks may be seen). Nothing catches on the piece. Gaps are not seen.

Student was able to create a finished piece that may have slight structural issues but is still usable. Cracks are deeper but have not ruined the usability of the piece. Finish is acceptable but could be improved.

Student was able to create a finished piece but has structural issues such as cracks or gaps. The quality of the finish is lacking finishing touches and may need additional work or time to be truly successful.
