Environmental Risk Assessment

Excellent

PN students will be able to quickly identify the dangers to their surroundings, and if needed move patients to a safer area. Able to identify those patients in immediate need.
Good

PN student a little delayed to react to the situation. Having difficulty prioritizing the patients according to need, but maintained some self direction.
Fair

PN student needed some instruction for them to begin assessing the surrounding and needs according to patient injuries.
Needs Improvement

PN student needed a lot of assistance and instruction to begin treating the patients according to severity
Patient Assessment

Excellent

PN student immediately took care of the primary problem and then systematically was able to assess the patient in general.
Good

PN student began a systematic approach before identifying the primary problem and needed reminders to act quickly, but eventually completed a full assessment.
Fair

PN student needed some reminders of what treatment options were needed and how to further proceed with patient care after their initial assessment
Needs Improvement

PN Student needed a lot of assistance to begin the initial assessment of the patient, and did not ask the appropriate questions to determine patient health status.
Patient Treatment

Excellent

PN student identified the appropriate steps to take according to the injuries that each patient acquired.

PN student eventually treated the symptoms presented and hit most of the key steps.

Was able to identify some of the steps to take for the patient injury, and with advice could respond appropriately.
Needs Improvement

PN student was unaware of the steps to take in treatment for their particular patient, and patient decline was eminent.
Overall Scenerio Management

Excellent

Overall scene management, was kept calm, good communication and delegation of tasks were verbalized, treatment was accurate according to priority and needs. Patient interaction was excellent.
Good

Overall scene management, was somewhat chaotic, delegation of some tasks were verbalized but communication could have been better and treatment was provided with minimal instruction. Patient interaction was good.
Fair

Overall scene management, was chaotic, delegation of tasks were not verbalized and communication was minimal, treatment was provided after some instruction was given. Patient interaction was fair.
Needs Improvement

Overall scene management, was very chaotic and unorganized, very poor communication if any noted, treatment was provided after much instruction was given. Patient interaction was poor.
