The reference citation has more than one error as it is written. There are numerous grammar and spelling errors.
Good

The reference citation has one error. There are some spelling and grammar errors throughout the paper

No errors exist in the citation or in grammar and spelling.
Summary

A brief summary of the article is included in the critique. The summary is no longer than one paragraph.

No summary is given.

A summary of the article is attempted, but is severly lacking in more than one area.

A brief summary (no more than two paragraphs) of the article is given with all the required information.

One strength or weakness is identified, but this section is poorly developed in the critique.
Good

Strengths and weaknesses are identified, but are not developed or are already identified by the author(s).
Excellent

The strengths and weakness identified are novel, fully explained, and relate to the topic of the journal article.
Implications

The critique contains information on how this topic might apply to future research.

Poor

No implications are mentioned.
Fair

One implication is mentioned, but is poorly developed in the critique.
Good

One or more implications are given and are sufficently clarified.
Excellent

Implications are clearly explained and demonstrate critical thinking skills
