Catapult Project Bridge Build Construction Project Student will design and construct a Catapult that will throw a ping pong ball. The catapult will be judged on both accuracy and distance with the results being calculated by a spreadsheet. Catapult Project
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Project sketch	Excellent Sketch was complete with three views neat showing all of the necessary information.	Good Sketch was mostly complete with only one missing view and some of the necessary information.	Fair Sketch was mostly incomplete with several key views missing.	Poor Sketch was either incomplete or not turned in. No information was used in the construction of the catapult.
Catapult construction	Excellent Catapult is built well, good angles and not extruding screws or nails.	Good Catapult is somewhat built well, some parts crooked and nails/screws sticking out.	Fair Catapult is poorly built. Several poorly attached pieces, many screws/nails protruding.	Poor Catapult construction was either not complete or not finished.
Distance	Excellent Catapult distance was in the top 25% of the class distances.	Good Catapult was in the top 50% of the class distances.	Fair Catapult was in the top 75% of the class distances.	Poor Catapult was in the bottom 25% of the class distances.
Accuracy target shooting	Excellent Catapult score was 76-100 points.	Good Catapult score was 51-75.	Fair Catapult score was 26-50.	Poor Catapult score was 1-25.
