The poem/song included the following: setting, characters, plot, conflict, and resolution.
Poet/Singer Preparedness	Poor	Fair	Good	Excellent The poet/singer was very prepared. He/she knew his/her poem/song well enough to recite/sing it fluently. They really performed. There were no mistakes made by this poet/singer.
Performance	Poor The poet/singer was not understandable as they performed.	Fair The poet/singer was not very loud, and not very clear, making them hard to understand.	Good The poet/singer was a little loud and somewhat clear, you could still hear them a bit. This made it a little hard to understand.	Excellent The poet/singer was loud enough to hear, and all of his/her words were clear and easy to understand.
