Research documentation	Poor No documentation; little evidence of research.	Fair Some evidence of research; documentation is incomplete or inaccurate.	Good At least 3 sources for research with accurate citation.	Excellent More than 3 sources for research; accurate and complete documentation
Creativity	Poor Little evidence of creativity, time or effort displayed in project.	Fair Minimal use of color, imagination, or thought in developing the project.	Good Visual display uses color, pictures and imagination.	Excellent Highly original ideas, excellent use of design, color, artistic planning.
Timeline	Poor Does not include a timeline	Fair Includes a timeline of 3-5 events, has minimal spelling mistakes, could be neater, more organized	Good Timeline of 6-9 events, spelling/grammar, organization and neatness does not detract from overall timeline, but could use more effort	Excellent neat and orderly, correctly spelled and includes 10+ events
Historical Significance	Poor Does not include anything about the historical significance or else the information is not accurate.	Fair Little evidence of original thinking about the historical significance	Good Demonstrates thoughtful ideas about the historical significance	Excellent Well-thought out and research supported evidence of the historical significance
Presentation	Poor does not present	Fair presentation is insufficient, lacks charisma and eye contact, doesn't know the information, or the information is inadequate	Good lack of eye contact and passive voice does not deter from quality of presentation and information is sufficient	Excellent information is sufficient, engaging to the audience, good job!!
