Pre-production Planning, brainstorming with group, storyboard and scene description.	Poor There is no storyboard or not enough information to describe the intent and idea of the production.	Fair The storyboard drawings do not show the intent to use a variety of camera angles. Descriptions and instructions relay a rough idea of scene.	Good The storyboard shows the use of different angles and describes the intent of each shot. Conveys the basic idea of the scene.	Excellent The storyboard shows use of a variety of angles, describes briefly the intent of each shot and specifies lines of dialogue and brief instructions for actors. Clearly describes the idea of the scene.
Production Cinematography, directing, group dynamics	Poor Camera shots are improperly used and do not visually tell the story. Entire scene shot in one wide angle without other shots to cut away to.	Fair Camera shots are fairly well used, but could do better at telling the story visually. Some angles used without "meaning or reason."	Good The camera shots are accurately used to tell the story.
