Written Instructions	Poor Written instructions are hard to follow, and incomplete. Consumers will have difficulty assembling the product.	Fair Written instructions are capable of interpretation for assembly with some evaluations/assumptions made by the consumer in order to complete the process.	Good Written instructions are clear, complete, concise, and most consumers would be able to assemble the product correctly.	Exceptional Written instructions are clear, complete, concise, and ALL consumers would be able to assembly the product correctly.
Design/Layout	Poor Layout is difficult to follow. Many steps are left out of the building process.	Fair A parts list is included and referenced throught the process. Steps are complete, however somewhat difficult to follow.	Good Manual provides an easy-to-follow layout. Parts list includes both visual & written descriptions and are referenced throughout the manual.	Exceptional Manual is neat & professional; provides easy-to-follow layout; parts lists with visual & written descriptions are included and referenced in each step.
