Group Choreography Assignment 
Students will be producing a group choreography assignment in which all members contribute to producing choreography for the task at hand. The choreography should have a clear form, transitions that are seamless and movements that represent your theme/song. Students should use as many choreographic devices to enhance their performance.

Dancer know the movement extremely well. Confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction. DANCE is clean and well rehearsed. Transitions are natural and seamless.
Proficient (3)

Dancer know the movement well. They stay together, and have a good sense of timing & direction. 2-3 mistakes made. Transitions are good.
Developing (2)

Dancer somewhat knew movement. Have an ok sense of timing & direction. Made 4-5 mistakes. Transitions are ok.
Beginning (1)

Dancer are somewhat unprepared and unsure of the choreography. Timing or direction is unclear. Made 5-6 mistakes. Transitions are choppy.
Teamwork

Exemplary (4)

Strong evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.
Proficient (3)

Good evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.
Developing (2)

Dancer show some evidence for working as a team. Not all students represented or participating.
Beginning (1)

Dancer show little evidence for working as a team. Not all students represented or participating.
