LMJ WIB One-Acts - Director Evaluation of Actors

I.B High School Theater Students Festival of One-Acts. This rubric is an evaluation of each student actor.

Memorization	Excellent Script was memorized before required deadlines. <BR> Actor stays true to the playwritghts text. <BR> No ad-libs. <BR> No prompting. <BR> No un-natural pausing.	Good Script was memorized by the required deadlines with only minor errors. <BR> Actor needs to call line occasionally when creative rehearsals take place.	Average The script is mostly memorized, but not word for word. Occasional ad-libs. Only needs occasional prompting. Some paraphrasing. Some unscripted pauses to search for lines.	Fair Needs a fair amount of prompting.<BR> Ad-libs frequently. Forces other actors to "save them" sometimes or move around in the script - - other actors must listen carefully and "track" them. Pauses often to find themselves.	Poor Scene is not memorized. Frequent ad-libs. Using script or needs excessive prompting. Makes it very difficult for others to play their role or polish their own performances. Stunts growth of fellow actors.
