Texture Project
	Excellent Student meets and exceeds the objectives and criteria for the project. 5 pts	Good The student meets most the objectives and criteria for the project. 4 pts	Average The student meets a few of the objectives and criteria for the project. 3 pts	Fair The student does not meet the objectives and criteria for the project. 2 pts
Use of design principles/creativity The student uses elements of art of texture to create an independent project.	Excellent The student shows an advanced knowledge and application of the objectives and shows excellent creativity in design.	Good The student demonstrates knowledge and application of the objectives and shows creativity in design.	Average The student shows a developing knowledge and application of the objectives shows some creativity in design.	Fair The student shows an undeveloped knowledge and application of design elements.
Follows directions Follows directions (must haves) related to the project, according to the handout given.	Excellent The student follows the directions precisely with no difficulties or creative issues.	Good The student follows the directions with slight difficulties.	Average The student follows the direction with some difficullteis.	Fair The student does not follow the directions.
Craftsmanship Neatness demonstrated through effective use of media/techniques.	Excellent Excellent craftsmanship is demonstrated throught the process of the project.	Good The student demonstrates good craftmanship and neatness when using chosen art materials.	Average Craftmanship and neatness have inconsistoncies throughout the final project	Fair The student does not make efforts to neatly use art materials.
Attitude/Use of Class Time	Excellent Student demonstrates excellent attitude,shows clear attention to detail and uses class time effectively	Good Student demonstrates good attitude, work skill with little issues using class time effectively.	Average Student has some trouble using class time effectively.	Fair Student does not use their class time properly.
