Attendance	0 Unexcused absence.	Poor Student is tardy, misses majority of the class.	Fair Student is tardy, misses the beginning of class.	Good Student is present but is not prepared to begin on time.	Excellent Student is present and prepared to begin class on time.
Participation	0 Refuses to participate in activities.	Poor Will group with other students of his or her choosing only.	Fair Will relunctantly group with randomly selected groups, but participates minimally.	Good Groups with randomly selected groups and interacts within the parameters of the assignment.	Excellent Groups with randomly selected students and interacts within the parameters of the assignment, and additionally offers ways to help other group members understand the concepts being discussed.
