State Symbols Research Response

Students will write a two paragraph (3-5 sentences per paragraph) response to research on state symbols. They can either write about their favorite state symbol and list facts about that symbol, or they can write about a symbol they feel should be a state symbol. The students need to give in-depth reasoning and support to the topic they choose.

Accuracy of Facts Enter description	Poor NO facts are reported OR most are inaccurately reported.	Fair Most supportive facts are reported accurately.	Good All supportive facts are reported accurately.
