Listening Behaviors	Poor Rarely pays attention.	Fair Sometimes pays attention. Showing very little listening non-verbal communication.	Good Usually pays attention. Showing good listening non-verbal communication.	Excellent Always pays attention. Showing excellent listening non-verbal communication.
Speaking	Poor Rarely speaks, or speaks without regard for others. (class disruption)	Fair Answers at least one question with prompting.	Good Usually speaks up appropriately, does not need prompting from teacher but is responsive to prompting.	Excellent Frequently raises their hand and speak in turn on presented information. Does not need prompts from teacher to offer comment.
Guided Notes	Poor Student doesn't take the write anything on paper/worksheet/notes .	Fair Student makes an effort to take paper/worksheet/notes but is missing more than 2 items.	Good Student completes most of the paper/worksheet/notes (only missing 1 or 2 terms)	Excellent Student completes paper/worksheet/notes accurately.
