Form	Mastery Exceptional use of design element form. Intended shape is clearly defined & balanced. Carnations are placed correctly.	Meets Good consistent application of the element Form. Shape is somewhat defined but can be confused with another shape.	In Progress Weak in the application of element Form.<BR> No shape defined.<BR> Materials used may be broken.	Poor Design work lacking the application of the element Form. Makes you ask what is it? Materials used are broken or cut too short.
Focal point	Mastery Exceptional use of the design principle of Focal Point You get excited about this special location in the arrangement.	Meets Good consistent application of design the principle Focal Point. Arrangement catches your eye!	In Progress Weak in the application of the principle Focal point. Somewhat catches your eye but hard to get excited about it.	Poor Design work lacking the application of the principle Focal Point. Arrangement has nothing that catches your eye.
Mechanics	Mastery Mechanics are strong, stable, and long lasting. Mechanics are well hidden	Meets Mechanics are stable and the arrangement will stay together when being transported.	In Progress Mechanics are weak and/ or showing.<BR> Foam not taped into container- wire not properly taped.	Poor The design lacks mechanics or they are incorrectly installed. No tape used- no wire used-reuse of old foam, no ribbon or other accessories
Completeness	Mastery The arrangement is complete with greenery, babies breath and carnations and correct bow.	Meets The arrangement has a majority of the necessary primary flowers, greenery and filler flower	In Progress The arrangement is missing primary and/or secondary flowers, filler flowers, bow and/or greenery which doesn't meet the standards.	Poor The arrangement lacks the necessary greens, flowers or bow needed to create an arrangement and doesn't meet the standards.
