Molecular Structure	Unsatisfactory Student puts together balls and sticks that do not represent the actual molecule they had intended in any way.	Below Average Students build a model that has the correct number of atoms color coded, but neglect size, bond type and orientation altogather.	Average Students have the correct number of atoms and color code them, but they do not represent actual relevant sizes. The type of bond or the spacial orientation are not clear or not represented.	Very Good Students have the correct number of atoms. Atoms are color coded, and represent relevant sizes of actual atoms. They connect the atoms using the correct bonding type (single, double, triple).	Excellent Students have the correct number of atoms. Atoms are color coded and represent relevant sizes of actual atoms. They connect the atoms using the correct bonding type (single, double, triple), and representing the actual orientation of the molecule in space
Creativity and workmanship	Unsatisfactory Students did not add color, no effort put forth. The model was not unique and was messy.	Below Average Students created a model, it lacked color and appeal, some effort was put forth, but the model was not unique.	Average Students created a model, it was color coded, and had some appeal, effort was visible. The model had some different aspects, but was not unique and did not hold together.	Very Good Students created a model that was color coded, showed good effort, and had a lot of visual appeal. The model had some different aspects and was neatly done.	Excellent Students created a molecule with a lot of color, coded atoms, was very visually appealing. The student created a unique model with many different aspects.
