Usually sits/stands with correct posture, and hand placement(s) Usually comes to class prepared and ready to perform selections/warm-ups from previous classes. Demonstrates good knowledge. Talking can be excessive and distracting.

Sometime listens in class with several interruptions. Sometimes actively participates in ensemble/solo activities, and is sometimes very respectful and collegial to fellow classmates. Sometimes sits/stands with correct posture, and hand placement(s), has to be reminded several times. Sometimes comes to class prepared and ready to perform selections/warm-ups from previous classes. Demonstrates some knowledge, but retention is regressive from week to week.
