Crossovers	Exemplary Student was able to do very well with executing forward crossovers, with one foot crossing over the other consistently and with good balance.	Developing Student is developing their forward crossovers skills with one foot occasionally crossing over the other and the students developing their sense of balance.	Beginning Student is just beginning to develop this skill and will need to take more time in learning how to cross one foot over the other. Balance is also an area that needs a significant amount of development.	Notes
Body Control - Stopping	Exemplary Student is able to start and stop at while maintaining balance.	Developing Student is able to start and stop while maintaining balance, but it may take a while or it's effectiveness needs further development.	Beginning Student is able to start and stop while maintaining balance with 50% or more of their attempts.	Notes
Backwards Skating	Exemplary Student was able to skate backwards very well, using the "Cs" and is able to effectively move down the ice, in a controlled and balanced way.	Developing Student was able to skate backwards a little bit, using the "Cs" and is able to slowly move down the ice, in a controlled and balanced way.	Beginning Student will need to spend more time developing their ability to skate backwards, the "Cs" need to be practiced so that the student is able to move down the ice, in a controlled and balanced way.
