Actively Listens pts	Below Expectations Does not use open body language, open ended questions to ensure understanding of what participants are saying. He does not clarify questions to check his/her assumptions against what the speaker actually means.	Fulfills Expectations Asks open ended questions and uses active listening skills such as clarifying questions, verifying informationand emphatizing with the speakers to understand the meaning behind each participant's words	Exceeds Expectations Fulfills expectations and effectively employs active listening skills until participants confirm that the mediator does understand the words and their meaning

Guide to Good Resolutions pts	Below Expectations Resolutions are not realistic or fair/balanced. Exceeds Expectations Strong resolution in which both parties share responsibility and believe the outcome is equally fair or unfair.
Grammatical and lexical resources pts	Below Expectations The grammatical resources are ver poor for the intended level. No grammatical contents covered so far are included.	Fulfills Expectations The grammatical resources from lower levels are incorporated with no errors. Few errors in grammatical contents covered during the present course.	Exceeds Expectations Correct use of lexical and grammatical resources, even the more complex ones although there might be a some error.
Fluency and Pronunciation pts	Below Expectations The fluency and pronunciation are very poor for the level. Many words are mispronounced and this affects the comprehensibility of the discourse.	Fulfills Expectations The fluency and pronunciation are in keeping with the level intende although the speaker can use fillers to gain time during the discourse. There might be some words mispronounced but it does not affect the comprehensibility of the discourse.	Exceeds Expectations The fluency and pronunciation are higher than the level intended although some word can be mispronounced .
