No apparent flaws. Student has great knowledge of the clay and terminology and is a problem solver. Scoring and slipping is exceptional.
Satisfatory

Construction is sound and functional without obvious flaws, edges are smooth, and parts are neatly trimmed. The piece holds to together.
Needs Improvement

Overall construction has minor flaws and student made some attempt to correct issues. Does not demonstrate best effort.
Unsatisfactory

Overall construction has flaws such as cracks, warping, dents, visible seams, clay is too thick or too thin, rough edges. Appears rushed.

Thought given to the glazing process. Enhanced textures, even coat -Student shows knowledge of glazing do's and dont's ...Good coverage.
Needs Improvement

Gazing is to thick or to thin of application, drips, uneven coverage, missed areas. Glazed was applied unevenly and some spots are unglazed. Glaze was not removed from the foot.
Unsatisfactory

Little to no attention given to the glazing. Sloppy. Project was NOT dry-footed. Project was not glazed or glazed very poorly.

and or disruptive behavior... project not completed on time or no project at all, work area not cleaned. Student does not respect not abide by classroom rules and procedures.
