Playing test rules: One free restart. If you are distrubing another person testing you will lose points on your test. If you don't like your score you have up to one week to schedual a make up on your own time (before/after school or During lunch).

Student is able to play without any wrong notes and wrong rhythms.

Student plays with uncharacteristic tone. Only blasting, squeaking, cacking.

Student plays with uncharacteristic tone with many cacked notes, problems with air and squeaking.

Student plays with unlcear tone. Fuzzy, stuffy or weak air. Some cacking and squeaking.
Excellent

Student plays with minimal cacking, squeaking or weak air. Tone is clear but has minimal problems.
Superior

Student is able to play without any cacking, squeaking or weak air. Also demonstrating a characteristic sound on Their instrument.
Articulation/ Dynamics

Poor

Student plays with none of the arituclations and dynamics. (No attempt).
Fair

Student plays with little dynamics and articulations.
Good

Student plays with some articulaitons and some dynamics.
Excellent

Student plays with most of the articualations and dynamics written.
Superior

Student is able to play with correct dynamics and appropriate ariticulations.
