FFMHS Performance Assessment: Bb chromatic scale

Students will perform the Concert Bb chromatic scale and may use their scale sheet or fingering chart, if they choose. This will be one of 3 summative assessments for the 3rd quarter.

Concert Bb Chromatic Scale	1 Student is not able to play the concert Bb chromatic scale accurately at this time. There were 10 or more mistakes and/or corrections. If the performance of this scale was not received by me, a zero will be entered into the grade book.	2 Student plays the concert Bb chromatic scale. It was not smooth due to the 5-9 mistakes or corrections.	3 Student plays the concert Bb chromatic scale. It was mostly smooth with 1-4 mistakes and/or corrections.	4 Student plays the concert Bb chromatic scale accurately. There were no mistakes and it was smooth and steady throughout.
Garage Band/iTunes	1 Student may/may not have recorded the concert Bb chromatic scale. It was never submitted/received. If the performance was never submitted a zero will be entered into the grade book.	2 Student recorded the Concert Bb scale into Garage Band and may have shared it with iTunes but the incorrect format was sent to me. The student had a chance to correct this but chose not to send me the correct format until after 2 or more reminders.	3 Student recorded the Concert Bb scale into Garage Band and may have shared it with iTunes but the incorrect format was sent to me. The student had a chance to correct this. As soon as the student realized the problem, the performance was immediately (within a day) sent to me in the correct format.	4 Student recorded the Concert Bb scale into Garage Band, shared it with iTunes and then emailed the iTunes file to me for scoring. It was emailed to me in the correct format the first time it was received.
Submission/on time	1 Student did not submit (record in Garage Band, share with iTunes and email the iTunes file to me) on or before March 26th, 2015 by 6:00 PM. It was received after the close of grades, April 3rd, 2015 OR it was not submitted at all and a grade of zero will be entered into the grade book.	2 Student did not submit (record in Garage Band, share with iTunes and email the iTunes file to me) on or before March 26th, 2015 by 6:00 PM. It was received between March 28th,2015 and April 3rd, 2015.	3 Student did not submit (record in Garage Band, share with iTunes and email the iTunes file to me) on or before March 26th, 2015 by 6:00 PM. It was received by the next class or later that same day, March 27th, 2015.	4 Student submitted (recorded in Garage Band, shared with iTunes and emailed the iTunes file to me) on or before March 26th, 2015, 6:00 PM.
