Ghost Story and Monster Ghost Story Write a 1 page ghost story, haunted house story, or other scary story for presentation. Story must have a defined beginning, middle and end. Bonus for adding "spooky" elements of scary voices, creepy faces, and spooky gestures. Poorly organized lacking all structure.
Monster	Excellent Monster is 3 Dimensional and unique and is described accurately in the story	Good Monster is 3 Dimensional and somewhat unique. May not be described in detail in story or exaggerated too much	Fair The monster is not 3 dimensional and does not line up with the story	Poor What monster?
Characterization Enter description	Excellent Story has well developed characters who are distinct and memorable.	Good Characters are distinct in the writing, but are not differentiated in the telling.	Fair Characters not well defined, or entirely undifferentiated in the telling. Voice Enter description	Excellent Vocal variety to convey character, emotion, and "spooky" elements in place. Volume is appropriate, as is tempo and rhythm.
