Greek Video Project 
Students choose a Greek myth to read, understand, and creatively produce a movie based on that myth. Kansas 6th Grade Standard 3 & 5. Objective: Students will be able to work with a group to express the main ideas from Ancient Greek Myths.

Script is hardly readable. Only 1 or 2 students have parts. Plot is majorly disorganized.
C- to B-

Script is somewhat readable. Most members have equal parts. Plot is mostly understandable.
B+ to A-

Script is readable. It has equal parts for all members. Parts of a plot is present (Intro,R. Events,Climax, F. Events, Resolution).<BR>
Modernized version.
A to A+

Script is typed. All members have equal parts. Plot line has all parts and very interesting. Modernized version ties in easily with original myth.
Creativity

F to D

Product is not at all original, seems that no thought was put into the project. Disorganized. Unable to express the main message of the myth chosen.
C- to B-

Product is somewhat original, with some thoughtful parts. Harder to relate to. Somewhat ties in with the original myth.
B+ to A-

Product is original and well thought out. Audience is able to relate to the concepts presented. Modernized video, but still tied to the original myth.
A to A+

Product is super creative! Original thoughts from the group. Seamlessly blends modern version to original myth. Creative ideas that no one else might have thought about is present.
Quality

F to D

Hardly understandable. Way too long or too short (less than 2 minutes, longer than 12 minutes).<BR>
Hardly follows the script written.
C- to B-

Decent audio and visuals. Somewhat understandable. A bit short or a bit long (less than 3 minutes, longer than 10 minutes). Somewhat follows the script.
B+ to A-

Good audio and visuals. Easily understandable. Right around 5-10 minutes. Follows the script created.
A to A+

Excellent audio and visuals. Easily understandable. Right around 6-9 minutes.<BR>
Follows the script with some modifications to make it better.
Teamwork

F to D

Only a few members carried most of the load (members who are not willing to work must be reported on an index card). Arguments and indecision caused the group to have a poor quality product.
C- to B-

Most members have equal share in the work load. Arguments and indecision frequently arose, but still able to complete tasks. Group somewhat worked well.
B+ to A-

Each member has taken an equal part in all aspects of the project. Discussions were civil and not many arguments. Group was able to work together well.
A to A+

Teamwork is apparent within the project. Discussions and arguments were healthy towards creating an excellent project. Disagreements reached a compromise for the better of the group.
