Name and Location

The student is missing one part of the answer. Either the student named one Habitat and two locations or named two Habitats and one location is omitted.

The student named two Georgia Habitats. The student explained thoroughly where the two chosen Habitats were located.
Two Kinds of Animals

The student will name two kinds of animal found in each habitat chosen. Land or Water Animals or birds are acceptable.

The student will name two plants or trees found in each Habitat chosen. Flowers are acceptable as plants.

The student is missing two Plants and/or trees or has listed one that is not related to the habitat chosen.
Meets Expectation

The student is missing one Plants and/or trees or has listed one that is not related to the habitat chosen.

The student correctly named four plants and/or trees found in their chosen Habitat.

Explains what happens to organisms when habitats change.

The student did not give an answer or show little or no understanding of the subject matter.

The student shows some understanding and needs some clarification on subject matter.

The student has a logical explanation of what happens to organisms when habitat changes.

The student has a clear and precise understanding of organisms and the effects they have on habitats.
