Wire Sculpture; 7th Grade Project 
Students will create a sculpture using wire and considering proportion of a figure in motion.

Skill; Wire manipulation

~Sculpting the basic armature (skeleton) of the form.
~Sculpting the contour and volume of the figure in correctly.

Level 1

*The student did not try to sculpt the figure on their own.

*The student attempted to sculpt the armature but gave up as soon as it challenged them.
*The student seldomly asked for help.
*The aluminum wire was not sculpted or attached it simply hung on the sculpture.

*The aluminum wire was attached to the armature securely. The coils were not manipulated to look sculptural at all.
