Mostly maintains their ostinato correctly throughout the entire performance.	2 Student is occassionally thrown off by others joining in on different patterns. Maintains their ostinato throughout the entire performance, occasionally loses the beat but recovers well.	1 Student has great difficulty keeping his/her own rhythm when others join in on alternate parts. Does not maintain their ostinato throughout the performance, rhythms become muddy because of a lack of concentration.
